New Mexico has a long and proud history of winemaking (thanks, largely, to the Spaniards who settled here in the 1600s). Dire Wolf Bourbon is matured in oak barrels, typical bourbon profile with lots of ‘char’, vanilla and caramel notes, somewhat ‘smokey’, ‘sweet/woody’, and nutty.
Oh yes, it is as in GOT Dire Wolf.
