The Roving Bee Gathers the Honey

I’ve lived in many places and wandered through countless cities, gathering inspiration wherever I could find it. Like a roving bee, I collect a little pollen, a new perspective, a story worth carrying forward from each place I go.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

Every element tells its own story, but it is the thread that connects them that gives the pattern its meaning.
My work is guided by the belief that meaning is created through connection. Each individual shape carries its own story, but together they form a richer narrative. My patterns become a reminder that places, cultures, histories, and people are never isolated. They are woven together into something stronger than any single element alone.

New Mexico has become one of the threads that runs deepest through my life and my work. Its vast skies, landscapes, cultures, and traditions have shaped the way I see the world. The contrast between New York and New Mexico continually fuels my creativity. One teaches movement. The other teaches stillness. Together, they remind me that the strongest ideas are born from both.
